Thermal Insulation Aerogel Powder

Thermal Insulation Aerogel Powder
Details:
Thermal insulation aerogel powder is a silica-based nanoporous material developed to reduce heat transfer in coatings, construction materials and industrial insulation systems. With a pore size measured in nanometers, the material effectively limits thermal conduction while maintaining a lightweight structure.
Compared with traditional insulating fillers such as perlite, hollow glass microspheres or diatomite, aerogel powder delivers higher insulation efficiency at lower loading levels. This makes it a preferred choice for manufacturers looking to improve thermal performance without significantly increasing product thickness or weight.

Thermal Insulation Aerogel Powder Advantage

Insulates Like Nothing Else

It blocks heat and cold so well it makes traditional insulation look ancient. A little bit goes a long way to drop your temperature readings fast.

100% Waterproof (No soggy insulation):

This powder won't absorb water or turn into a clumpy mess. If you're trying to stop rust and corrosion under insulation panels, this is exactly what you need.

Blends Right In

We make sure the powder grain size is consistent so it mixes smoothly into your paints, resins, or glues without ruining how your base material behaves.

It Doesn't Age Or Wear Out

It's an inorganic material, meaning it won't rot, degrade, or lose its insulating power over time. Once it's in, it's in for good.

Industrial Aerogel Powder Application

Heat-blocking paints & coatings

Formulators mix it into heavy-duty industrial paints. Contractors spray it onto hot pipes, steam valves, and chemical tanks so workers don't get burned and factories don't waste energy.

EV battery fire walls

The electric vehicle world loves this stuff. It gets packed into the thin barriers between battery cells to stop overheating and prevent dangerous fire chain reactions if a cell goes bad.

Deep-freeze & LNG shipping

It works wonders for extreme cold. It's used to pack vacuum insulation panels and double-walled tanks for shipping liquid natural gas (LNG) or protecting aerospace gear in space.

Lightweight outdoor & sports gear

From super-thin thermal insoles for winter boots to lightweight outdoor gear and heat-resistant plastics, it adds serious insulation without adding a single ounce of dead weight.

Custom Aerogel Insulation Powder Manufacturer

We're the actual factory: We don't buy and flip this stuff. We own the production lines and use high-tech drying systems, so you get direct factory pricing and a reliable supply that won't run dry.

Consistent quality, no surprises: We test every single batch for grain size and water resistance. You get exactly what you pay for, every single time, with the paperwork to prove it.

We'll help you mix it: Aerogel can be a bit tricky to blend if you're new to it. Our team won't just dump a pallet at your door and leave-we'll walk your engineers through the best way to mix it into your formula.

Real prices that save you money: Because we make it at scale, we've figured out how to keep production costs down. We pass those savings onto you so you can keep your margins healthy.

FAQ

1.What's the actual size of the powder grains?

Our everyday stock version sits between 15 and 50 microns. It's got massive surface area and is incredibly airy. If your lab needs something custom-like super tiny nano-size or chunkier grains-just say the word and we can mill it for you.

2.How much heat can it actually take before it fails?

It's totally safe anywhere from a freezing $-200^\circ\text{C}$ all the way up to a roasting $+400^\circ\text{C}$. If you push it past $400^\circ\text{C}$, the waterproof coating burns off (so it will start absorbing water), but the actual structure can handle up to $650^\circ\text{C}$ before it breaks down.

3. I heard aerogel powder is a nightmare to mix into liquids. How do we do it?

Yeah, you're spot on-because it hates water and weighs almost nothing, it loves to just float on top. The trick is to "wet" it first with a tiny bit of alcohol (like ethanol or IPA) or a surfactant. Once it's wet, drop it into your main mix and stir it gently. Don't use a high-speed blender or you'll crush the tiny air pockets!
