Low Thermal Conductivity:Thermal insulation coatings have a very low thermal conductivity, meaning they significantly reduce the rate at which heat flows through a material. This property helps maintain the internal temperature of structures and equipment, making them ideal for both hot and cold environments.
Fast Drying Time:These coatings are designed to dry quickly after application, allowing for faster project completion. This minimizes downtime, enabling businesses to resume operations sooner while ensuring the protective benefits of the coating are achieved quickly.
Lightweight:Thermal insulation coatings are often lightweight, which makes them easy to apply without adding significant weight to the structure or equipment. This is particularly beneficial for applications where weight reduction is important, such as in aerospace or transportation.
Non-toxic and Safe:Many thermal insulation coatings are formulated to be non-toxic, ensuring safety during both application and long-term use. They do not emit harmful fumes or particles, making them suitable for indoor environments or areas with sensitive populations.
Aesthetic Flexibility:Some thermal insulation coatings come in a variety of finishes and colors, allowing them to be integrated seamlessly into different architectural or design aesthetics. This feature is especially useful in the construction industry, where both functionality and appearance are important.
Long-Term Durability:High-quality thermal insulation coatings are designed to last for many years without significant degradation. They are resistant to wear and tear, and many are UV-resistant, ensuring they maintain their insulating and protective properties even after prolonged exposure to the elements.

advantage of aerogel thermal insulation coatings

Easy to install
Aerogel thermal insulation coatings can be applied to existing buildings without altering the external structure of the walls or requiring the removal of external air conditioning units, drainage pipes, etc. The application process is convenient and allows for a "construction while in operation" approach.

Green construction
Aerogel insulation coatings can be applied continuously without creating seams, effectively preventing leakage through gaps. They also require fewer steps, are easy to apply, have a short construction period, low cost, minimal environmental impact, and do not generate large amounts of construction waste.

Save space
Aerogel insulation coatings provide the same insulation effect as traditional insulation materials several centimeters thick, but with a thickness of only 2mm. This minimizes the space occupied by interior wall insulation, maximizing living space.

Water-based and environmentally friendly
The aerogel thermal insulation thick intermediate coating material is pure and odorless, with stable physical and chemical properties and no release of harmful substances, meeting environmental protection requirements. It is also in a paste form, requiring only a small amount of water to be added and mixed on-site before use, thus preventing dust generation and minimizing impact on construction workers and the surrounding environment.
Construction Precautions
Before Construction:
1. This product must be thoroughly stirred for at least 3 minutes before use. A small amount of water may be added if necessary, but not exceeding 5%.
2. The construction temperature must not be lower than 5°C, the air humidity must not exceed 85%, and the wall moisture content must be less than 10% and the pH value less than 10 before construction. Construction is not recommended during heavy fog, high humidity, or before and after rainfall.
3. The surface to be coated must be treated before construction to ensure that the surface is free of dust, grease, peeling, and flaking; for old surfaces and chalking surfaces, the chalking layer and old paint film should be removed and thoroughly rinsed with clean water. Construction can only begin after the surface is completely dry.
During Construction:
4. When applying aerogel coating, spray/apply approximately 1-3 mm at a time. The first coat must be cured before applying the second coat.
5. The interval between each coat should be at least 24 hours (the interval should be extended appropriately when working in cold or humid climates). After applying the aerogel coating, wait 24 hours before applying the multi-functional wear-resistant reflective thermal insulation topcoat, but the interval should not be too long to avoid excessive dust accumulation affecting the adhesion of the topcoat.
After Construction:
6. Subsequent processes can only be carried out after the coating is fully dry. After the last coat is applied, a curing period of 3 days is generally required (this depends on the construction thickness and weather conditions).
7. Paint products should be stored in a cool environment, and the long-term storage temperature is recommended to be between 5-30°C.
8. During transportation, prolonged exposure to sunlight, collisions, and heavy pressure should be avoided as much as possible, and the packaging should be kept intact.
