What Is Elastic Aerogel Fiber?

 

Elastic Aerogel Fiber is a revolutionary functional material engineered by our factory to combine the ultra-low thermal conductivity of aerogel (≤0.028 W/(m·K)) with the stretchability of elastic fibers (50%-300% adjustable stretch ratio). Unlike traditional rigid aerogel (which cracks easily under tension), our product uses a proprietary "dual-core elastic matrix"-where silica aerogel nanoparticles are uniformly embedded in a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or spandex base-creating a material that is both lightweight (density: 0.15-0.35 g/cm³) and durable.
