1. Unique heat insulation mechanism

the nanoscale porous structure of aerogel makes it have three major effects of "zero convection", "infinite path" and "infinite shield plate". The pore size is smaller than the free path of nitrogen and oxygen in the air, and the air molecules in the pore cannot achieve convection, which greatly reduces the thermal conductivity of the gas phase. When heat flow is transferred in solid, it can only be transferred along the pore wall, and the thermal conductivity path formed is very long.
